How Dearest handles your data.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Agent account details such as name, email, brokerage, phone number, and profile photo
  • Client information such as names, email addresses, notes, and intake responses
  • Listing URLs and listing data retrieved from supported sources
  • Messages you send through Dearest, including share emails and AI instructions
  • Billing and credit purchase records

Presentation and analytics data

When a report is viewed, we may collect usage information such as view counts, approximate city and country, referrer, device information, and timestamp data. We use this to provide presentation analytics to the owning agent.

How we use information

  • To create and deliver buyer presentations
  • To personalize reports using agent and buyer-provided preferences
  • To process payments and manage credits
  • To send operational emails, intake invitations, and shared presentation emails
  • To improve reliability, performance, and product quality

Third-party services

Dearest relies on third-party providers to operate. These may include Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Google Maps for geocoding and travel times, Apify for listing retrieval, and Replicate or other AI providers for content and image generation.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or complete actions you request, such as generating a presentation or sending an email.

Retention

We retain account, client, and presentation data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some generated prediction inputs or outputs may be removed automatically by upstream providers on shorter timelines.

Your choices

You can update your profile information from the dashboard. To request deletion of account or customer data, contact hello@dearest.co.

Children's privacy

Dearest is intended for business use by real estate professionals and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
